Senior Support Worker for

Salary: £30,000 or £15.40 per hour

Requirements: Senior Support Worker

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Strong background in support work and social care
  • 2 years experience as a Senior/Team Leader – duties including shift leading, medication, staff supervision
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • Confident working with challenging behaviour
  • A genuine passion in residential childcare

Desirable: Senior Support Worker

  • Level 3 Residential Adult Care Diploma
  • Experience in specialist care for children with autism, learning disabilities, or complex backgrounds

Responsibilities: Senior Support Worker

  • Supporting with team leadership
  • Carrying out risk assessments and updating care plans
  • Administering medication
  • Providing quality and consistent care to help meet social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Supporting young people to do their favourite things and to try new activities
  • Promoting child safety and welfare and working with relevant stakeholders to do the same
